Creating with Light

Bio

I am a 29 year old Architect in the Kansas City area. I graduated in 2007 from Kansas State University and moved here not long after. I became interested in photography when I attended a study abroad program at Deakin University in Geelong, Australia. I started with a powershot A54o, learned the basics of what to look for and how to properly expose images. My first DSLR was an Olympus E-510 and was a great camera to get the hang of shooting with an SLR, but I felt Olympus lacked the versatility of equipment I was looking for. I have recently purchased a Canon 50D and have been extremely happy. I have found over the years of learning the art of photography, that my passion is best expressed through Architecture and Landscape Photography. I have also found that I love the exploration of transitional light. Sunrise, Sunset and civil twilight provide the most sensational lighting, and the best part is every single one I see is different.

    Love you, son.
